The Problem

Beach-cast Sargassum creates a costly handling and disposal challenge for coastal communities. Its water, salt, sand and arsenic content complicate industrial use, while rapid degradation can destroy recoverable value. The missing link is processing that connects collected biomass to downstream requirements.

What we do

TideWrack connects two capabilities: coastal-biomass intelligence to support operator awareness and collection planning, and modular Sargassum processing to prepare collected biomass for downstream use.

TideWrack Intelligence — Environmental monitoring, ground-truth observations, and coastal-impact intelligence to support operator awareness and collection planning. These capabilities remain in development and are being validated against observed conditions.

TideWrack Processing — Modular preprocessing and fractionation for collected Sargassum, including contaminant management and recovery of useful product fractions. The planned model works downstream of existing collectors, with preprocessing near accumulation. Initial bench testing and independent laboratory analysis are complete; product qualification and field-scale performance remain under development.
